The Courageous
Communicators Story

Because military families often move every 2–4 years, children experience repeated disruptions in care, routines, and relationships. Families also navigate oppositions that civilian families may never have to consider, including deployments and long periods of separation. As a speech-language pathologist and military spouse, Jordyn witnessed military families facing the same challenges time and time again:

✔ Losing progress during PCS moves or deployments
✔ Difficulty transferring evaluations, IEPs, authorizations, and treatment plans to new states or providers
✔ Long waitlists at new duty stations
✔ Feeling overwhelmed by TRICARE processes
✔ The constant rebuilding of a child’s care team every few years

✔The emotional tolls brought on by a military lifestyle

Courageous Communicators bridges this gap.

This platform blends professional expertise, personal experience, and deep compassion for the military community—offering families and clinicians practical, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based resources they can use no matter where life sends them.
